Terrible planning, signage and staff. When we bought our tickets we said we had never been there but they didn’t explain anything to us. We started going through the corn maze and noticed there was some sort of checklist that could be done while going through the maze so we traced our way back to the beginning to find out there was a murder mystery scavenger hunt but they never mentioned it or gave us the paper and pencil to participate. Then when they explained that the goal was to solve who committed the murder that really freaked out my 7 year old! Then they tried to say “oh no they’re trying to figure out who kidnapped the farmer!” Which just scared my kid more. Then we attempted the corn maze again just ignoring the murder mystery aspect of it when we start hearing really loud thunk noises around us. The first time I thought it was maybe corn falling or something but later we discovered there was a group of teenage boys throwing glass beer bottles in the corn maze! At this point I tried to leave the corn maze to keep my child safe and there was absolutely no staff to help us escape or tell us which way to go to exit quickly and safely. Then when we went to pick a pumpkin they had some “games” set up that maybe looked like bowling? But the pumpkins were rotting and there was no signage or staff to tell us what the game was supposed to be or how to play, if it was okay to play, etc. Then it took forever to find some decent pumpkins because over half were rotten or smashed from people throwing them or stomping on them. Was hoping to have a nice fun little fall event day with my daughter which turned into a scary and sad day for her and an infuriating day for me. Don’t bring your kids here, really there’s no redeeming reason TO go. Save your sanity and your money and go literally...
Read morethe first time i came here last year it was great, good prices and friendly people.
this last time was great, but when i went to get weight for my pumpkin haul, the woman doing the measurement made friendly conversation with my husband and the friend i was with, but refused to look me in the eye or acknowledge me when i spoke. when holding out my hands to receive the paper with the weights on it, she proceeded to give it to my husband instead. both with my husband and friend she smiled and made conversation, but with me she ignored completely. i had never seen this person before in my life so there was no reason to prompt the reaction she has to me. i didn’t yell or demand anything, i was actually happy and laughing up until that point.
the rest of the staff were great and I didn’t have any problems with them. pumpkins were still a great price, but even my husband found the interaction quite strange.
i don’t want to presume the reason behind the way i was treated by one employee, but it left me feeling unsettled the rest of the day. Giving four stars because this is truly a great pumpkin patch with good quality pumpkins, everyone else on the farm was so friendly and in general i had a great time...
Read moreNo Nonsense pumpkin patch with on the vine pumpkins and an elaborate corn maze. The cost on the corn maze was $10 per person. We had a lot of fun here. The space for a farm was smallish and faced a lot of road. Unfortunately this isn't anything they can do much about, that is what they have to work with. And they work with what they have well. There were also two onsite food trucks.
The pricing is really good for their pumpkins. One rep was kind of rude but it was also the busy season, and customer service is always the most variable of any metric.
The cost + distance to fun ratio was good enough that I would...
