Robinson's Overstock Warehouse — Attraction in Auburn

HORRIBLE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE! They have TWO clothing price lists so its completely convoluted. Cashiers don't honor it, despite it hanging very clearly from the cashwrap. I found a pair of bike shorts marked on the original manufacturer tag for $24.00. They were coded with an X which meant an extra 80% off. Great deal, I thought. Cashier scanned them and charged me, but she couldn't get the security tag off of them so I said I'll just return them. When she told me the amount I was getting returned it was $13 and some change. Only then did I realize I was originally rung up incorrectly. She rang up the item at 50% instead of the coded 80%. I mentioned during the return that discount was incorrect but the cashier claims that she just discounts items based on their codes?? Clearly with TWO systems of pricing, there is major room for error.

Another guy cashier literally stood behind his register but didn't call anyone over to his line until 5 minutes had past. Just stared at people waiting in line, me included. Then he let a customer with a huge cart go ahead of me despite it being my turn to check out.

Overall, this store is a place for old Target merchandise to go and die. Shelves are horrendously messy, they play horrible Christian music, and they will scam you at the register. The pricing is deceptively horrible, too. Nothing in this store should be over $3.00 because it's mostly trash junk. Never shopping here...

I like how clean the store was. I like how the prices are actually pretty good I don’t know if it’s because of the holiday season or not. But I was able to buy my two toddlers Christmas gifts for under $70. My only complaint which I have reported to the store manager today is that There Was a young girl working and followed me and my family throughout the entire store while shopping. I am white and my husband is African-American and my three kids are mixed. This is not acceptable And this is how businesses lose customers fast. I’d understand if we showed any sign of suspicion, but it feels like we were targeted from the moment we walked in. I hope the manager takes what I have, and talk to his workers about being more mindful and giving people a benefit of the doubt, especially if they’re just walking in the...

I work remotely from home, and sometimes my only outing of the day is to Robinsons. I choose to come here solely because of the wonderful people they have working. Tony and the entire team are genuinely the most sincere and nicest people you will meet. They consistently go above and beyond to ensure every customer feels valued and receives top-notch service. It’s clear that everyone is treated with respect and kindness, and I’ve witnessed their dedication firsthand on numerous occasions.
