Lake Myrtle Sports Park — Attraction in Auburndale

Well kept park. Went my grandson's baseball tournament on Sunday, July 19th. I didn't like the fact they charged $10 per person per day, double what most tournaments ask for. The concession stand is expensive charging $6 for a hot dog. To top it off it started raining before my grandson's game started and they called the game off. The city refused to come out to make the fields playable. So I'm out seeing my grandson's team play in the semis and championship game. UPDATE: Kids playground has been fix.

Kids playground is horrible and it's been like that for a while. Now the dog park looks beautiful and it even has a shaded area. Sad animals get better things then our little precious humans. I have seen them charge $10 for airbands p/p. Give our kids a decent place to play and probably make it for that bigger kids can enjoy it too. The fields were nice and the staff was nice but it was very expensive to get in and the concession stand wasn’t open for the first game of the day or the last game of the day. Also, a few of the days the fryer was down and they were also out of lots of the food with days left for the tournament. It’s summer and hotter than heck and there isn’t anything close by to stop at.
