Took my pup out for Sunday stroll... it was my first time on this trail.. it’s fairly short & sweet, but connects to other longer trails in multiple places, so you can really make it as long as you like.. I would call this trail moderate to low difficulty.. the trails can get pretty narrow in some places, there’s a few places where you have do a bit of climbing & cross water on rocks that may get slippery.. it was pretty low traveled compared to a near by green belt trail.. so I enjoyed that for social distancing purposes.. for a while I felt like we were the only ones on this trail! That’s so rare in Austin, and the pup & I took great advantage of it. The scenery was really nice, but there’s quite a bit of road noise that could be heard almost throughout the entire trail.... but that makes for a perfect excuse to pop your earbuds in and listen to something more appealing while you take...

Last time I began here and hiked to the abandoned VW bus further south. There many different trails that branch off to more hidden places. Even when the main trail is very busy I always find a solitary, quiet spot to take a break. If you're in the area I highly recommend...
