This Park is very nice and clean. Small but it's a good and sometimes busy distination for a walk in the trailhead that goes inside a small forest for few miles, and for families too with all the playground spaces for kids of all ages..a small field for soccer or football and a covered area with tables and chairs for some celebrations too...(we saw a lot of people there last week for a BD party I guess...it was very nice and colorful and very clean too). The only issue there is the bathroom is not functional (or just always closed!!) And the parking area is very small just for a dozen cars..and the weekends are very busy there, so the only choice is the on-street parking...or park far away. Otherwise this is a highly...

I've lived in the neighborhood for 20 years and enjoyed the walk down the trail every year. I only give 3 stars because it smells like sewage during the summer and the wood bridges are rotted and dangerous now. Finally there is one rocky descent just where the actual trail starts that is hazardous for small children or elderly. If you get past that, you have a choice - a lower trail that runs next to the creek very pleasant when there is water, and an upper trail that is a bit more technical but more fun. A very beautiful walk, and a completely different experience at different times of day. If you go to the fence of the wildlife preserve and back its a bit less than three...

Nice neighborhood park with decent hiking trail at the end. Normal precautions apply. Keep your dog on leash, carry poop bags, watch out for snakes. Low exertion trail, but you do need to have working knees for some climbing in a couple of places. Normally I'd say you can't negotiate that with a wheelchair, but if you have a couple of assistants to portage you through the worst areas and wheels designed for trails, you'll probably be ok.

The park itself has grill stands, pavilion, swing sets, playground equipment and field for softball and soccer practice. During daylight hours, it is a safe place to...

This is a great little park. There's a trail that feels like it goes on for miles. The playground itself has a huge canopy covering it. During the summer it's really nice, the sun isn't beating down on you. There are other little things to play on not under the canopy. Bring a ball and you can play on the field or basketball court. There are swings but they are closer to the parking lot. If you haven't been here, make a plan to visit. 😊

Just did the canyon trail with the pup. It ended up being about 5.1 miles in total. There are a few trails here that intersect, but it is very well marked once you get on the trail. The beginning itself is hidden past the playground. Excellent hiking trail. I wouldn't recommend for trail running due to the rocky height transition in a few areas. Be forewarned, there are multiple creel crossings that may get your feet wet.
