Great park tucked away in a neighborhood. This is a great park that you haven't heard of. The trails are well kept up and there are a lot of birds and some cool bugs to see. The trail is pretty easy and should be accessible to most people. There is a mix of shade and sun so be prepared for some exposure, in particular the stretch along the railroad tracks. Of you like dragonflies, this park has you covered. Near the creek there are loads of them. If you are looking for a nice walk in the woods, definitely recommend.

I was staying in a house nearby and while this park was just across the railroad tracks, I had to drive almost 10 minutes to get to the place where you enter. It is in a neighborhood, but it's nice to walk around in some nature for a bit. I saw some deer, too. Some of the edges back up to businesses and one edge is next to the train tracks, but overall, it's nice. If there's a pond in the middle, I didn't find it!

Looking to head off the beaten path into an undeveloped park and wilderness area. This is the place to explore. A Creek runs through the trails but it's narrow enough to navigate without getting your shoes wet. Tread lightly and keep your eyes and ears peeled for flora and fauna as you hike the trails, watch dragonflies at the creek, or stay shaded under the canopy and tree forts.

If you live in the Riata and its surrounding neighborhood , the is place is a hidden heaven. The trail is fully covered with green cover. You will feel close the nature ,while you are walking on the trail. Lot of small birds and insects makes the walking / logging more lively experience. Our kids always love to walk there as they get to see many plants , tress, birds, animals and insects. There are plenty of parking space in the near by commercial space. There is no signs on the trails so there are chance that you get lost. But it is a small area so you can easily ...

The park has a couple pf creek crossings on the north side amongst the trees. A nice make shift tree branch teepee. All these items are on the north west side of park. One previous comment said there was excercise equipment, but not here... At adjacent park about two blocks away. No easy access parking, had to park in a neighborhood street away from google point... Which ended up being believe it or not another 10min journey by car. Not sure if i...
