Theirs this really nice spot passing the cafe until you pass a white bridge . Water is beatiful blue . Ive gone here many times different spots and each time a different expirience. My fav was this one , Buy the parking pass on any liquor store or buildings in entrence $5 for a car . Park mostly anywhere where u dont block the way. Their bathrooms certain sites or go in the wild just cover it up have decency for others . Their camping sites too . Even kyeyack area . Lots of ppl on bikes or hiking. Water is freezing but good for bones and clears up acne. Rocks and sticks so dont forget you water shoes. Nice beatiful sadly ppl are ruining it with their trash and not covering their BM . Today is probably the last time I take my 4 children here because not only was there so much trash but there was also TICKS, lots of them not just 1 or 2 I'm talking lots and lots of them. Read moreCycling up to Hwy 39 from the San Gabriel river bike path, I continued on to the entrance of Azusa River Wilderness park were I noticed a that it was closed. It had been blocked off with cones and wood posts from one end to the other end. I managed to get my road bike through the baracade that had been put there since the recent fire.. a sign posted closed till further notice.
