So this place is named after the toxic chemical in the Superfund site a hundred feet away. One million gallons of this highly toxic wood preservative are underground this bench as well seeping through the soil and sending a plume through the aquifer below. The morons at the EPA say it's safe to play and swim in this park. As a long time environmentalist I say you would be nuts to hang out here and really nuts to get any water nearby on your skin or in your mouth. So sad it is over 40 years this place has been supposedly...

05/06/23: This was one of the best places in Bainbridge Island where I could actually immerse myself in nature. It was a small and beautiful beach and not many people knew about this beach. There are two small benches under the tree so please check it out. I could see the whole of Seattle’s horizon at this place. It was so peaceful, calm...

This place is so lovely! Tucked away hidden gem. Small beach with the best views of the water in between you and downtown Seattle from a distance. There are two small benches to relax under trees. To get to the beach, you have to step down a few logs. Be careful. There wasn’t anyone when I was there, so it was very peaceful.
