This free trail is one you can walk/hike, run, or ride your bike on. It is over 250 miles. We walked on part of it since a portion of it is inside of the fort/national monument/shrine. It was a great walk. On it you have beautiful views of Baltimore and the harbor. Worth walking even if you just do some of it. Great exercise and it is a safe area.

Great trail and picnic area. It was very serene and peaceful to be there. I think if i had enough time, i would have stayed for like hours. There were lots of families and couples just enjoying the view. There were a couple of people running for exercise. I think this is also a good place to run.

Love this place. Very historic and also spoke about the story of Francis Scott Key and the role the people of Baltimore played a role in defending the city against British forces during the War Of 1812.

If you are coming to Baltimore THIS is the place you have to visit. This is the TOP of the list of places to see. A wonderful historic sight and a must for anybody interested in the history of the War of 1812, American History, American Military History, Maryland History, or even British History. I would suggest going during good weather. It will take about half a day so have a second place to...

As with the fort itself, the trail that surrounds it offers amazing views of Baltimore and the harbor. The trail is free and it gives you a great view of the fort. Don’t forget to check out Baltimore’s hottest stature, Orpheus, who beckons your call just outside of the fort on the side closest to Locust Point. Great spot for anyone looking for a...
