Very friendly park staff who actually checked me in ahead of official opening time, allowing me to get out on the trails before the sun started heating things up. I hiked the full loop and appreciated the impact of the river water and springs after many days spent in the parched Davis Mountains. Beautiful views, trails fairly easy, and a really nice picnic area. Also... Monkey Rock is well worth a visit, even if you are not planning on...
