What a gorgeous day! 🍂🍁 Lost Maples State Natural Area is located in Vanderpool, TX. Went with the fam for the first time and it did not disappoint. It was peak season for the foliage and i highly recommend eveyone to see it at least once. Saw Monkey Rock and The Grotto. We hiked the whole Eastern Trail and did the Lookout point. Almost 4 1/2 miles. #lostmaples #lostmaplesstatepark #lostmaplesnaturalstatearea #fyp#thanksgiving2024 #sanantonioriverwalk #sanantonio

We had a very clean campsite. The host was very helpful and the restroom/shower facility was spotless. The only negative was tons of flying bugs and we couldn't harvest any of the abundant fallen wood for firewood. Also, they didn't have any firewood for sale so we weren't able to have the whole camping experience. I cowboy camp without a tent and having a fire is critical to keep...

In need of maintenance....power steam cleaning bathrooms Toilets and showers. RV sites in need of leveling and paving. Sabinal River was nice for kids. Lots of hiking opportunities. Pretty good Wifi available at the office, on the hwy entrance to park side, not...
