This place is pretty awesome too bad it's next to a place where they buried nuclear waste underground I'm not joking look it up if you're in the parking lot walk straight and take a left past the weird little gate thing that's buried in the ground and you'll come up on a retention pond near a nice little concrete slab (cap) with a shed on top of it inside there you'll find the green ooze that made the Ninja turtles Unfortunately the nuclear waste is slowly moving towards the bay but it's going to take something like 1.5 million years to get there based on the slope and the gradient of the land.. I really like the towers I think they do a really great job keeping up the park But they should tell a little bit more about the nuclear waste part though because it's crazy that we have something like that in our backyard right next to our Bay and our water areas PDF file that is widely available on the internet.. I left some photos in case you don't feel like looking it up you can peep them out

Great place right next to the Bay City State Park to take a walk, hike, or bike. I have been walking/biking here for decades, as a young child and now an adult. It is most peaceful in the morning 🌅, and during the Fall time 🍁. I highly recommend this place, and every time you visit you will encounter some different type of wildlife.

Love the observation decks, and the hidden gnomes throughout the forest. Lots to see especially during summer-fall. Lots and lots of mushrooms to observe. The chipmunks stay busy along the pathways so if you bring the kids along they’ll always have little animals to look out for.

A lot decent trails to walk or ride. Beach access, splash park, camping across street. Picnic facilities. Visit marsh towers, see beaver and cranes. Board walk on beach with telescopes for seeing boats and shipping. Fish in the lagoon and open marsh areas.

Trails were in really good shape despite all the wet weather lately. Was here in January so no birds to speak of but I'll be back when they return. Really good spot for photographers with the two 4 story towers overlooking the marsh.
