Gorham Mountain — Attraction in Bar Harbor

What a grand adventure! This is a very easy hike in most seasons. If you plan on winter hiking, check with the ranger station in Bar Harbor for trail conditions. There was a thick layer of ice under the 3-4 inches of snow which made a few spots treacherous if you don't have and ice gear. Basic crampons, Yaktrax or MICROspikes will do the trick. This was a fun (but heavily trafficked) trail. Not too difficult, with minor scrambling and overall great views the while way up.
