Sand Beach Overlook — Attraction in Bar Harbor

Don’t confuse this spot for Sand Beach.

This is the first look out over the cliffs and looks down along the coast line. Stunning views especially when the fog rolls in over the ocean. Great place to watch the waves crash upon the cliffs.

We parked at the parking lot down on Sand Beach and walked the trail along the coast. It’s a couple mile walk round trip so be prepared. Rocks can be slippery.
