Super nice trail. You should account for the sand when planning your timing. The marsh side was much softer and slowed me down vs the bay side. I took Marsh side to #4 and then crossed to the bay side. Weather was great and the beach was abandoned. You could extend the hike to the end of the point but it'll add an additional 4 miles onto the 7.8 that #4 cross over had. The dunes and Marsh were incredible. There was lots of rocks and seashells. Stunning views and stops along the way made for a great 8 hour adventure. Wear sunscreen and bring water. We loved this walk and slept...

Not much wildlife in mid May but the weather was lovely today. Definitely gear up and hike...
