My wife, brother, and I were utterly disgusted with this place. I am wheelchair bound, and the ground around and in the building are made up ofc gravel stones which make it very difficult to get around in the wheelchair. As for the building itself, it's hard to believe people are allowed to go into it. The ceiling has fiber insulation hanging down, and the rest of the building is just plain dirty. As for the cars, they all look like they haven't been washed/polished in years. Yet when looking at their webpage, all the cars look as if they have just been polished. To top all this, the owner asked for $10 from each of us. We realized later that the webpage says an admission fee costs $8. I would say to anyone, "do not waste your time and money", on this so...
Read moreThis place is hard to describe. All the cars there belong to him and were raced or driven on the street by him. They are all red. They are all British sports cars except for four Datsuns that he also raced. . . . And they're red, too! They are in a barn on the property of a B&B that he runs. If you remember what racing was like in the 60s, 70s and 80s, you HAVE to see this place! This guy is great. He'll tell you about every car, if you like - then leave you alone to lose yourself in yesteryear. This is NOT one of those sterile operating rooms of "garage queens"! These cars have been rode hard and put away...
Read moreTruth be told I didn’t actually go see the cars, though my family did. I stayed outside and hung out with all the cats. Several of them are very friendly which is lovely but I noticed that they are badly infested with fleas. I wanted to tell the owner but he had driven away shortly before I noticed. Not only are the fleas very uncomfortable for the cats, if the infestation is severe enough it can cause dangerous levels of anemia. I could tell that the owner is a perfectly well meaning gentleman, but I write this in hopes that he will see this and get the appropriate flea medication for his...
