New England Pizza House #1 — Restaurant in Barnstable

The pizza itself is ok, not the best I've had but not the worst either. Will not be returning though because the woman behind the counter DEFINITELY over charged me. I ordered a large cheese pizza with extra cheese, which on their menu it would have come up to $12.75. I got back to my hotel and see she charged me $17.39, for a 14 inch "large" pizza. Seriously how did it jump in price like that?! That is not right to do to customers and I will not be recommending or returning. Got the pizza today 6.25.2021. Even called to speak about the crazy upcharge and was told extra cheese is 3.00 dollars extra because they put a pound of cheese, this still goes against what is on the paper menu they keep at their register. When I said this the man on the phone got VERY loud and rude "Stating I made over thousands of menus, I am going to use them, prices are to change." The menus should be updated or they should let customers know prices have increased. I even though I was yelled at said calmly "Well then you lost a customer as I will not be returning. Have a great day." And hung up as he was still yelling. I understand businesses need to increase prices, but customers should be made aware if prices on menus are not accurate or have been updated. That is false advertising of their menu items. I wish the family best in life, but that is not ok to do...

I am extremely upset with the food delivery that I ORDERED ON Wednesday night from this place..I got 2 subs and an order of fries..---MY STEAK AND CHEESE WAS LOADED WITH,OREGANO, SHREDDED LETTUCE,BROWN TOMATOES,AND LITTLE TO NO STEAK that was shaved so thin i chocked on it,AND MY ITALIAN SUB WAS SHAVED BLACK LETTUCE,STORE BOUGHT PREPACKAGED HAM,JAIL STYLE BOLOGNE AND IT TASTED LIKE BOLOGNE THE WHOLE SUB....THE BEST THING FROM THE MEAL WAS THE TWO LITER BOTTLE OF COLD COCACOLA THAT I GOT AND THE BACLAVA. THATS PRETTY SAD WHEN I COULD HAVE WENT TO CORNER STORE AND GOT JUST THOSE TWO ITEMS...I PAID 37.90 PLUS A TIP FOR ROTTEN FOOD,AND A BOLOGNE...

Owner is a very rude guy.Asked the employee if I could order a side of fries with cheese along with my large pizza with extra cheese.He was so rude ran out from back and screamed we dont make fries with cheese.I told him he was very rude to be a owner..I also told him if he feel his worker dont understand English well since she was willing to put cheese on the fries then he need to keep her in the back.Never again will New England Pizza get my bussiness ever again.Been a customer for over 8 years.The owner and his nasty attitude wont ever get another dime of my money.A true blooded American born...
