Something New n Different to do. Only 2 handicap parking spaces available.I would not recommend wheelchairs, rocks and tree branches and roots, a few small bumps on the walk up. 1/2 mile walk. Strollers are ok. They have a few picnic tables. Bathrooms are at beginning of Entrance. I defenitely recommend water shoes. Rocks on barefeet hurt/slippery. Entrance is free all you buy is a day pass to park. They have 2 benches on trail so you can rest if needed. Bring Mosquito spray. You can also bring snacks/ small cooler, but please take trash out. Nice little place for a quick swim. It can get very crowded. Actual waterfall is about 15 mins walk from parking. Walk is through the woods and very nice. Do bring bathing suits and towels. Rocks are slippery so do wear crocs or water shoes.
My only sad memory from this visit was of a family where a father and grandfather were smoking cigars next to their little child not only putting their own child in harms way but also polluting the area where so many other kids were present. God bless...
Read moreThis place is beautiful! Tiny bit difficult for my 4 yr olds to climb and navigate, but absolutely worth the views (we were also trying to swim too, so that added a little difficulty). That being said, our kids (9, 7, and 4 yr old twins) loved it. Definitely recommend, particularly if your kids like climbing and don't mind cold water.
