Jersey Shore Live Steam Railroad — Attraction in Bass River Township

Very unique and very special small gauge railroading club in the woods of New Gretna, New Jersey. I stopped-in on an off day when the trains weren't running and there was absolutely nobody there, but it seemed like a really cool, very special, secret little place. The only possible detractor that I observed is that the parking area is pretty small. Maybe there's additional parking nearby that I didn't see. I don't know. But the parking area I saw was small, and with a handful of club members' cars, and some cars from visitors, the little parking area would fill-up pretty quickly. Still, I recommend you...

Really cool Park setting with volunteers and a few different miniature rail cars. Member/staff were really great! My "little engineer" had an awesome time!! Bring cash or check to donate and support the parks continued existence and development. They are here on weekends. They said all year long as long as they can see the tracks...

Great place to spend some time with the family. Bring the kids, bring the dogs, it's all good. The trains are fun. The guys love to talk about their trains. The surrounding area is beautiful.
