The East 40 — Attraction in Bastrop

When I start to see the owners be responsible for the traffic that their Sunday events cause I’ll change my review because honestly, I’ve been there before with my family and I generally liked it but damn someone needs to be held accountable for what you cause to the community. 304 should not be shut down just because there’s a Sunday event. It took me one hour to make it 1 mile down the road just because they didn’t hire a valet to come out and guide traffic and then the attendees were over there being belligerent trying to cut off people using the emergency lane.

UPDATE : After a month since this experience and a message to management, the east 40 has corrected the traffic issue. In the past weeks on busy event days, they did in fact hire security and police officers to assist in delegating traffic. THANK...

I have visited this location twice since it open. It has a long way to go to really be part of the community. The beer selections are good. The facilities are great. The food you order from the bar is terrible. Everything was delivered staggered and took about hour. This was not a busy night. Food quality was poor everything we tried but the wings was bad.
