Warning to new and inexperienced drivers! One of the most poorly planned and organized staging lots and docks. The area where you are to park while waiting for your dock is a trap for getting stuck as you cannot turn around at the dead end, you can only back out while navigating around other trucks waiting in line to park there after you. The parking lot is actually huge and could be organized better, however it is sectioned off with cement blocks, tape, cones and plywood boards limiting your moves in every way. If you are a newer driver, you may want to avoid this place. It’s torture for inexperienced truckers. Be prepared to pay the lumper fee upfront and get reimbursed later. Once on the dock and the lumper is paid the unloading started within 15 min. Oh, and while I was writing this review a driver lost half of his front bumper on the barricades trying to back onto the dock. The barricades are too close and leave no room for backing, this place is a joke and clearly careless and not respectful of drivers who come here. It’s a cluster-fxxx. Fast...
Read moreIf your delivering items do not show up early. They will turn you away. Receiving starts at 8pm. I'd suggest arriving around 7 or their will be a line of trucks out to the road. I was there 2pm. Turned away. Returned at 7:15pm and was 2nd in line to check in. We weren't let in till 8pm. Didn't get call to dock till 10:15pm took till 11:50pm to finish offloading 11 pallets. Pulled away from dock and parked to wait on call to collect signed BOLs. Got paperwork call at 2:51am. With added lumper charge and additional supposed damage charges paid $220. I believe this location is running a scam on drivers. Take pictures of your product when you load and when you break seal and open doors to unload Only way you'll be able to prove condition of product. Here are supposed pictures of damaged product. I don't see one damaged box.. maybe a bit slanted stack but no damage. This was strapped by shipper and had a air pillows between pallets. Not to mention the unprofessional and rude demeanor of the receiving staff. Only nice professional person was the...
Read moreThe soonest drivers are allowed on their property is 8pm. Drivers use the right lane to check-in. They will check you in and then ask you to park in their parking lot until they have a door for you. All of the receiving doors are on the other side of the building. Use the driveway furthest from the guard shack to get to them. You have to back into the door BEFORE they will check you in at their office/desk. The office to bring your paperwork is on the front side of the building so yes you have to walk all the way back to the other side of the building to give them your paperwork. Everyone was OK not very friendly but wasn't rude either. Their just not in any hurry. My complaint was I was there for 8 hours waiting to be unloaded and paperwork given back. I was the last truck to leave at 7am when they go home. I was 2 hours early there. There was no reason for that! They do allow us on their property early again at 8pm so I gave them 2 stars but I hope I never come back. At least walmart only takes 4 hours I'm...
