The campground is located on the shore of lake Merwing and it has sites for both tents and RV's. The sites are spacious and allow to set multiple tents. I would give it 5 stars but it has two restrooms where there are not showers and the showers are far from some of the camp sites, it has very few water faucets to collect water and dispose sink water and there are no signs, either for finding your campsite or finding restrooms or faucets and water disposal. The beach is rocky and the swimming area was pretty low and practically unusable in August at top peak of the season. The crowd unlike Cresap Bay is very quiet and not using tons of generators...

The campgrounds are great for larger groups. Plenty of room for a few tents in each and most sites are pull through so larger vehicles or multiple vehicles fit easily! Easy access to Yale Lake but the shore is very rocky and not ideal for lounging. The trail was a fun afternoon adventure, be sure to check it out! Bathrooms were clean, but I suggest more showers. Great camping for the whole family. Large space to pull through large trailers with ample space in the picnic area for family/friend gatherings. Camp hosts were pleasant and very helpful. Bathrooms were kept clean and stocked. Showers were clean with hot water both sides. Very close to river edge to fish or kayaking. No phone signal so you will be able to disconnect if that is what you are looking for but only a short drive on the main road for a few minutes gets you to signal.. at...

Pretty good campground. Sites aren't very private and recent work made it kind of muddy and torn up. But!! It was quiet, and close to the Ape Caves. Camp just was super nice and seemed willing to go the extra mile to do the right thing m

Beautiful campground. Large lots with multiple tent spots, clean bathrooms, and right next to the reservoir. Kids rode their bikes all over safely. They thought beach was a little rocky, don't forget to pack water shoes.

Always a great place, thankfully they removed the 5 person maximum so we could bring our family back. Some spots are tight so call and ask them if you are unsure about ability or length. Beautiful views Yale reservoir.
