We’ve sorted through all the orders, and sent pictures of some of the bags and embroidery for reference to MOVEU. Thank you for getting everything here on time; the screen-printed items are absolutely flawless.
However, I wanted to address some concerns with the embroidery. It seems the embroidery file you created from our vector file could have been reviewed more closely before production. Unfortunately, the quality of the embroidery does not meet our expectations, and it is quite different from what we initially approved. Specifically:
• The embroidery is not as clean or consistent as we anticipated. • There are missing threads on the custom names, and the stitching isn’t neat, which is especially disappointing given the cost of these items. • The letters have noticeable jump threads between them. • The approved proof we received shows the embroidery design, but there was also a MOVE U decal placed beside it. When we decorate items in-house, the client always sees the brand on the proof for clarity. Your MOVE U logo, however, is missing from the backpack proof.
Given the importance of these items to our clients, I’m concerned about the impression this might leave, and I almost feel uncomfortable handing them out as they are. To resolve this, my suggestion is to send me the blank items so we can decorate them in-house, ensuring that the MOVE U brand remains intact. Our team is aware that these items are from MOVE U and will be wearing/carrying them at the festival.
I would appreciate hearing your thoughts on how we can move forward and make this right. Your help in resolving this issue would mean a lot to us. Thank you again for your attention to this matter.
(They responded with the following. Looks like this is the standard of embroidery at MOVEU. All embroidered items(jackets and backpacks are not good as shown in the pictures. Looks to be the quality of the DST file they used. They are only replacing the backpacks. We have to accept the jackets as is. I am not sure why)
Hey Jon, thank you for sending these images for review! I am happy to hear you love the screen printed items!
So sorry to hear you are not satisfied with the embroidery on the backpacks, this is the typical embroidery process used :)
If you would like, we can send you 12 blank backpacks at no charge!
( MY response to their response:
It wasn’t just the backpacks that were problematic; the jackets were also affected. You didn’t provide any feedback regarding the jackets. We handle embroidery in-house, and unfortunately, what was provided to us didn't meet expectations, as shown in the pictures. However, the screenprint was flawless and absolutely beautiful.
My review isn't meant to be rude; it's exactly what I shared with Braelyn, and she responded very kindly. If we don’t communicate our thoughts on the products, how will improvements ever be made?
I would definitely consider using MOVEU again for screen printing, but the embroidery was disappointing. This was our first order with MOVEU, and we were simply let down by the quality of...

We’ve worked with Teehive for several years and unfortunately, the experience has taken a sharp turn for the worse. A recent wave of turnover led to major communication breakdowns, and despite multiple confirmations that our negotiated sponsorship ($1.00 discount per shirt) was applied to our invoices, it turns out it wasn’t.
When I reached out to Morgan to understand why we were suddenly being charged nearly $500 for shipping, with no prior notice, and to request a clear price breakdown reflecting our sponsorship, it took over a week to get a response. Their solution? Acknowledge the $1.00 discount per shirt... and then raise our base price by $1.00 per shirt. Completely negating the sponsorship and eroding any trust we had left.
Teehive is no longer transparent or reliable. If you’re an organization seeking a consistent, long-term partner, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
