I'm a big fan of Mexican food, and as someone from Arizona, I have pretty high standards when it comes to quality and authenticity. So when I'm traveling and someone offers me Mexican food, I'm usually a bit skeptical. However, I'm so glad that I decided to give this place a try! The food here is fantastic - it's flavorful, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. I couldn't get enough of the delicious tacos and burritos, and the chips and salsa were a perfect accompaniment. The only thing I would say is that I could have used more tortillas, but that's a small complaint. Overall, the prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food that you get. I was pleasantly surprised by the portions, which were quite generous. The service was also excellent - the staff were friendly and attentive, making for a great dining experience. If you're a fan of Mexican food like I am, I highly recommend giving this place a try. It's definitely worth it, even if you're in the northeast where good Mexican food can be hard to find.

The food and the staff are amazing. The only place to eat in town. Man, I love this place!!! It's the best authentic food in the state by far!! Best place to eat in the United States PERIOD. Jose Rocks, Best Service with a Smile everytime, and he's very personable! He will literally have our drinks on the table before we sit down! Emmanuel has truly became like mi hermano! He may not be outspoken as the rest but he makes sure you are treated like familia, every time you walk through the door! He's absolutely wonderful in everyway! Eduardo and Perferio manage such a beautiful place! It truly feels like our second home! If you leave there not feeling warm and fuzzy because of the service, food, and staff, you are probably a straight up douche! Oh, and the portions are so large, you get two or three meals out of every one! Massive! Well worth the money! I went to Applebee's the other night, cost just as much! Food was sub par, and I didn't have 2 meals to take home, like I do when I go to El Tequilas!

I was there for a group meeting, after their normal business hours, so I'm giving a "friendly four." I ordered a chicken quesadilla and it came out as a tortilla with some cheese and pulled chicken in it folded over on itself on a plate. No lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream....nothing. it wasn't sliced, was pretty crispy, so I just ate it like a taco, and it was a'ight. I'm sure it's better during regular business hours. The motif, atmosphere, and location are all nice. The staff and service I thought was very good. I'll definitely be back. All the other food looked really good. I think I was the last guy to order so I'm guessing the cook, who was already staying late, was hooking me up by whipping me up something. All in all? A very pleasant dining experience, and I look forward to coming back.

The restaurant is spacious, and the service was very good. We arrived for a mid afternoon meal so it was not very busy. I agree with others that the food here is a bit expensive. One lengua (street) taco is over $5 and the two I had were very skimpy on cilantro. No rice or beans were included. The hubby had supreme enchiladas. He was disappointed in the flavor of the red sauce. I was too. Perhaps it was the Tex Mex recipe. We are used to authentic Mexican. Again, there were no beans or rice on the side. There was a huge pouring of sour cream on top of the enchiladas though. If we return, we shoot for lunch when the prices are better.

Love the bright and sunny atmosphere of this restaurant! Authentic Mexican cuisine, this is not your typical Tex-Mex joint most of us westerners are accustomed to. The interior decor is fun and colorful, very clean and inviting, with friendly and fast service. The menu is pretty extensive, offering many options, the portions are larger than what you pay for and the food is delicious. We were shocked with how quickly we got our food, very impressive and the plates were huge. I can't wait to try several other items, definitely a new favorite place to dine that doesn't cost an arm and a leg and is legit Mexican goodness!
