I had a pleasant and informative visit at the Terrell Park Nature Center. So much historical information I gathered from the lovely Rebecca Woodland. She gave a fantastic tour inside and outside the Nature Center museum. It is a beautiful historical place. A wonderful place to take photographs and learn about the history of Tyrrell Park. There are a lot of interesting books, portraits, t-shirts, amongst other things for souvenirs in the souvenir shop. Go see for yourself. You will not be disappointed. I love it. Thank you Rebecca.

This area and the buildings were constructed by the CCC during the 1930's. Very nice "rustic construction" Also Captain Tyrrell donated this large tract of land our city. City Council meeting today

Used to visit here over the decades before it became that which it currently is. Unfortunately nothing special to set it apart from everything else in Beaumont that nobody goes to.

There are some (albeit not many) opportunities which are being squandered by the powers that be, that could be made available to get feet through the doors.

However, it doesn’t seem as though the aforementioned powers are truly interested in doing what’s good for Beaumont, or the community.

Tried to get some images, but saddened, frustrated, and angered that once public spaces freely accessible and enjoyed by the community, are currently under the new rules, “verboten”.

Such a shame and wasted opportunity. Not a wise use of formerly PUBLIC space.

Herman and his wife were extremely friendly and helpful, even carving a bird and a flower for my wife. Just to meet and speak with them lessened the disappointing condition of...

The lady gave me a personal one on one tour of the remodeled facility and shared photos before the remodel and future plans. Nice to see local authorities making an effort to restore historic CCC buildings. The shell bricks are...
