North Higgins Lake State Park — Attraction in Beaver Creek Township

This is a really awesome state park. There is a ton of beach front with lots of picnic tables, charcoal grills and a nice path to walk. They have a playground and swings as well as sand volleyball. There's tons of parking and a huge campground for both tents and RVs. The beach isn't extremely Sandy, it's got more grass up to the water front there. Fairly quiet in camp, but noise from the road is a distraction. The east bathhouse is pretty old. Didn't have any hot water in the women's showers. Sites are a decent size and not packed together.
