Nice park. Greenery is abundant. I didn't go to the so much as I went to the ampitheatre. I must say, the venue is a great place to see concerts. For general admission there is hillside seating, all sweeping down to the level ground where the reserved seating and stage are located. The great view from the hillside is punctuated by the beauty of the sun setting beyond the stage.
They do need to work on the way they're serving concessions. The lines were entirely too long and time-consuming. After a long wait to purchase drink tickets, we then had to wait even longer to redeem the tickets for a beer. They were sold out of five brands of beer before Tyler Childers was half finished, so we were left with the unfortunate choice between Bud Light and Michelob Ultra for the rest of the evening. The restroom area also needs to be expanded or at least at portable toilets for bigger crowds.
It IS still a fairly new music venue so I have faith they will smooth the few...
Read moreThis park is seriously neglected. The playground is awful with only one of the benches not broke, the only infant bucket seat duct taped and cut all over, four working swings very rusted and uneven. The restrooms look like something out of a horror movie and never have toilet paper, paper towels or soap. The deck over the water has a hole big enough for a toddler to fall through also boards and nails sticking up causing tripping hazards. A Pepsi vending machine that's been trashed and none working for over a year. I'd be truly embarrassed to know what tourists who come to the amphitheatre thought of our lack of love...
Read moreNice playground with plenty to do. Usually clean. Does have one broken swing thats been broken since last summer. This park hosts the Farmers Market (not sure on dates/times). Has a huge baseball diamond (2 to be exact) and is the home of the Ampitheater. A nice improvement for our...
