Hometown Donuts — Restaurant in Beaver Dam

Visited during the week around 8am. Store is located in busy intersection corner. Parking lot is clean and easily accessible. Wheelchair friendly entrance and parking. Upon entering the store, first impression was pleased. Store was clean and had a nice aroma of donuts variety of options available considering it is a small store. No inside seating noted, and prices are fair. Enjoyed a chocolate long John and glazed donut holes. Delicious and fresh.

The old fashioned is a 10/10! In my opinion, those are the saving grace of this place. The maple bacon has a decent flavor, but the bacon bits are pre-cooked, packaged bacon pieces. Totally ruin it. Cream filled long johns are mediocre, and the cream is missing from the middle portion of the donut.
