It's a steep ~1.5hr to the summit, and if you trip on the way back I imagine you would just keep tumbling all the way down to the parking lot.
The view from the top is great. What people might miss though, is the view of sharp top mountain with the lake in front of it. About 20 minutes from the top there is a stack of boulders on your right (right/ahead). It's hard to miss. It's like a stack—like the only group of big rocks that could most be described as a "stack of boulders"—and you'll probably wanna climb it.
