Monroe Lake Spillway — Attraction in Bedford

There's Open Fields on both sides of the sidewalk all the way to the lake I would say about three football fields worth great place to take your dogs to run although they're supposed to be on a leash. It ends on a rocky Bank to the lake that's a very reasonable to navigate couple of picnic tables on the bank as well as a place to cookout on each side of the field you have I would take Hills that you can climb up there pretty steep be careful on those people have fallen and gotten hurt a great place to enjoy the lake with your family your friends your pets or...

Went there at 3am in the morning for clicking the stars yet it was bad day for us cause it was almost full moon still we got such pics. Nice place to hangout with friends and family and if you are photography interested person go there at night with tripod and good camera you will love it in dark night with sky full of stars.

This is wonderful place to be near water in Bloomington, however, there are far better places for a family with little ones such as the cutouts and another location with a full playground and water nearby. I hope the slipway makes improvements that attract more families on a regular basis so they can enjoy the natural beauty...
