Monroe Lake — Attraction in Bedford

Had a great weekend... Aside from some guy interrupting me before I could tell my friends where we were gonna go on the beach. Like dude your girlfriend registered as a bush in my way and actually had to look around for a the girl I was supposably looking at. Dude almost got messed up cause he wanted to jump on someone checking out the beach. Thought it was funnier to have him basicly talk to himself...... Wrong tree Mr insecure. I don't turn my back on a real threat. Funny really

This lake is flat bottomed, very little structure. I now know why people troll this lake, the fish are schooled up and swimming about. It's a hit or miss lake. So you need trolling setups, and patience. I prefer to cast, or at least sit over structure and jig for crappie. Sad to say, it's not my cup of tea and I probably won't be back, because I hate that type of fishing.

It's a very pretty area though, close to Bloomington, so there's plenty to do in town. Cool bars ad...
