I rarely leave reviews for anything, but I feel like I need to warn pet owners! I’m horrified at what I’ve experienced. Paid $150 for a full groom (doodle menu is pricey because it’s a lot of work, I get that), but the shaved my poor goldendoodle down to nothing! Due to shelter in place restrictions, our normal groomer canceled our appointment. Since my pup was overdue, he was beginning to get matting on his ears and chest. This is a very normal thing for poodle mixes, and it’s part of the reason they are expensive to groom. The groomer and I spoke about it, and I felt like he was in good hands. When I arrived to pick him up, I didn’t even recognize my own dog. She lazily shaved his entire body instead of grooming him properly. His skin is fully exposed (poodles run the risk of sun damage if their hair is too short) and he seems terrified. It is gross negligence. Thankfully, it will grow back. I asked for 1/2 of my money back and was offered a $70 credit towards my next groom. When I declined and requested a refund again, I was ignored. At this point, I feel I have no other choice but to...
Read moreJust to warn everyone the “flea treatment “ apparently is just to wash off some fleas on your dog, except your dog to be given back to you with full flea infestation and throwing up. They refused to give any portion of refund. They did get this business from us knowing that we are moving homes and wanted to get rid of fleas this was discussed over the phone a day prior to the appointment, then claim they are not a vet and shampoo just washes off some fleas but they don’t claim to get rid of even all adult fleas( Even after home wash the dogs didn’t have it back for weeks, not 2 hours!) and that we should bring the dogs there. If this is the case, and the shampoo is just to wash some off, why(???) when we asked if they do that and that we are moving homes and don’t want to bring fleas into our new home, WHY did they book the appointment and take this business and did not state that?! Literally 2 hours later by accident I noticed my dog all in adult fast running fleas...
Read moreWe came here for a walk-in bath after a wimpy new young girl at PetSmart said she wasn’t sure about him and she’ll see what she can do, didn’t even greet Smitty, didn’t listen to how to treat or command him, put a leash on dragged him back and walked right back out and said she can’t do it. At woof gang they had me bring him into the store and the groomer came out to meet Smitty, she was very loving and gentle and within minutes the tail was going crazy. He was obedient and comfortable and they were able to squeeze him in. He came out so happy and clean they even softened his paws! I loved that alone. Chatted with the owner for a bit and she showed me around. We talked about different treats, cookies and raw or freeze dried fresh treats, I got a lot of education that’s for sure. They have the cutest cookies and best prices Smitty has loved everything so far. We will definitely...
