I had my wedding here a few months ago. While there were many pros, the biggest reason I'm leaving 2 stars is because of how I and my family were spoken to the day of my wedding. This place is absolutely stunning and was one of the only affordable venues we could find; however, I was already bothered that we had to move and set up all of our tables and chairs, sort through which table cloths were clean, etc. (They also needed to be ironed.) These kinds of details should have already been done in my opinion regardless of pricing. I was also bothered that the cottage has no service and no internet (not to mention TV would've helped while we were getting ready) so no one could get ahold of anyone. These things I would've let go of and still given a good rating, but the biggest issue is still that when my family and close friends in my wedding party talk about our day they talk about the scenery, beautiful ceremony, great food, and fun time they had ALONG with how rudely that I and my parents were spoken to as they witnessed it all. My mother was berated for trying to get out of the way for pics because the owner thought she was going into her kitchen, which I didn't find out about until later. My friend was asked in a panicked manner why she was taking me WATER upstairs and asked to make sure we didn't set it down anywhere. My family was also told not to put anything on her table because it's some sort of antique. Then in the middle of me heading back to my reception I was berated for using fabric flower petals and asked when we would pick them up. Are you serious??? I would've left 4 to 5 stars easily if it hadn't been for things like this, but to this day I cant forget it and neither can those closest to me. My ONE day that was supposed to be known as the happiest day of my and my husband's life was tainted by behaviors of the owner and it will never...

The wine is very good. However, the customer service is incredibly lacking. My family and I had never been there and we were not even greeted upon entering. The bartender informed us that we would need to stand at the bar to do our tastings. This was unacceptable as I was with elderly family members. We did 2 dual tastings for the 4 of us and I ran back and forth between the bar and table so my family could sit. The bartender provided 2 glasses between the 4 of us instead of a flight which is normal for tastings and their sister company provides. The bartender also did not provide new glasses and reused the tasting glasses to pour the new wine into each one. She did not even ask which glass belonged to who. This contaminates the taste of the wine, mixing different wines together. We also ordered charcuterie boards and hummus plates. These were our only available options for food. They brought out a hummus pack that was purchased from Sam’s club with a few vegetables on a paper plate. The charcuterie was the most sorry board I’ve ever seen, also presented on a paper plate. We spent $60 on these food items that looked like lunchables. Before ordering the food, the bartender suggested we drink wine then drive to their sister company for quality food. The bartender suggested that we drink and drive. I will never go back to this establishment and I feel sorry for taking my family there. I do NOT recommend...

Where to begin!!?? My husband and I live in Charlotte, NC and our families were all in NC/NY/CT/TX. We wanted a destination mountain wedding, from the minute we got engaged we searched ALL over the high country for the perfect venue and I can’t even recall the number of places I emailed and toured (TONS). Some were alright and some were just crazy expensive and we were on a budget! Originally I was skeptical with the hassle of getting married in a whole different state but we decided to go take a look at Villa Nove anyways. I remember us driving up the driveway through the beautiful gates and just being in awe of the 360 Mountain View’s as we drove up, up, up to the top. We were immediately SOLD! The whole venue is breathtaking. What really seals the deal is how wonderful Linda and her husband Wayne are to open up their home for such a monumental event. I communicated back and forth with Linda for a year about details and vendor recommendations and everything in between! She goes above and beyond to make sure everything goes smoothly and you have everything you need! She is truly a blessing and I will forever be grateful for everything she did to help us make our day perfect! Thank you Villa Nove Vineyards for the wedding of our dreams. I couldn’t be happier. I obviously...

So, let me preface this with the fact that I am not a huge wine drinker. We were invited to go to the vineyard by our friends. I love some craft beer, but I do not drink a huge amount of wine. When I do drink wine I tend to lead toward full body reds. I did a tasting when we got there and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor profile from the wines they had to offer. We selected a bottle stepped outside and enjoyed the fantastic views! There was a one-man band playing music and I could not imagine spending my time in a better way than with my friends, enjoying a drink, and taking in our local scenery. They had a grill going with hamburgers and hotdogs that day, and I was impressed with the quality. I will be back soon and I'm looking forward to it. If you're in the area please give them a look. The servers there are beyond reproach, attentive, and very personable. You get the feeling that they truly love their job and aren't just there for the paycheck.

This place is absolutely incredible. If you are too much of a wine snob, you may not like that they don't change the glass for tastings, but we did not care. The wine slushies were delicious, the charcuterie was divine, and they had some special that was from a local BBQ place that was amazing as well. The wine was delicious and the view is insanely beautiful! They are opening a larger kitchen to serve Italian food with in the next couple of months and we cant wait to go back! I saw a lot of older reviews about rude staff, but we were greeted by the COO of the parent company and he was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a brand new waiter, 2nd day there, and he was extremely attentive and very nice. I RAVED about this place to all my friends already and we can hardly wait to revisit!
