Bella Fontaine Park — Attraction in Bellefontaine Neighbors

This park was horrible. Parking is the pits. Ppl were parked on the sidewalk leading to the only pavilion. It's not a big park. There are two small parking lots. Drivers don't adhere to handicap signs. It's located in the back of a subdivision in Castlepoint. A portion of the grass was freshly cut. They didn't pick up the leftover cut grass which made it unbearable...at least for me. The smaller children did enjoy the playground area. The park grass was totally overgrown. Whoever the park's maintenance workers are doing a horrific job on the grass. ALLERGY AND ASTHMA ppl were in trouble. My grandson's football team had to scrimmage another team. I will update you with pictures next time. Hopefully, it will be better. No restrooms that I could see. I don't believe I would have used the facilities if there were considering...

I was pleasantly surprised by the trail that connected the park to Bella Fontaine West. I guess I never took the trail that I took this particular day. I rode my bike on the trail. It was mostly flat, which is what I wanted. Most if it was well shaded and well manicured. I'm still trying to figure out how it all connects🤷🏽‍♀️. The bathroom was very clean. Surprisingly nice park in North County with a pond, clean bathrooms, 2 playgrounds, ballfields, basketball and Tennis courts. The playground has a swing for baby and adult. Plus there are several pages trails with fitness stations. I was there in February and the bathrooms were open and clean. The dog stations had baggie. Park rangers drove by to check...
