Alpine Slide — Attraction in Bellevue

BAD experience. Never going back!!! My sons cart flew off track at a curve and flipped sideways. His shirt and shorts were ripped to the point we needed to go to WalMart to buy a new outfit. My kiddo was shaking, teary eyed and had 4 different burns/scrapes. This place is a joke! The young girl who bandaged him up said its happened to her many times, acted like it wasn't a big deal AT ALL, and showed ZERO compassion for my teen who was visibly upset. I asked for any reimbursement for clothing and or other tickets I purchased to be used. She said on the back of the ticket it states-- not responsible for any IRRESPONSIBLE behavior. He was not doing anything wreckless! Gave me half the price I paid for 2 unused tickets and last TWO words out of her mouth as she walked away was, no refund. And that was her 3rd time saying it. So what happens if a child breaks an arm or leg. Is it a big deal then? Probably not...... Needs to be retrained for how to treat patrons who...

The slide was a long ride making you go downwards on a steep hill. You sit on a small boards that's just enough to fit someone like me (5.10 feet, 200 pounds). You push and pull a lever to move and stop respectively. The operator was helpful and gave precise instructions. The ride was pretty safe though you should always be careful at the curves.

Maybe I had too many expectations of this but my party of 3 just couldn't go fast on these things. I was the fastest at a reasonable pace and no matter how I pushed the lever, it wouldn't go as fast as I saw others go. It could be a weight limitation. My friends who were lighter than me were even slower so honestly, the ride was pretty boring for us.
