I have lived and loved the Bellevue Meadows community since my husband and I moved in May 23, 2011. This is a phenomenal place to live. Below is a copy of an online review I originally wrote on June 30, 2011 (with future edits). ❤️
Their staff is outstanding. If not, my family could not have lived here the past decade.
THANK YOU, BELLEVUE MEADOWS!

My husband and I moved into Bellevue Meadows the end of May. We have been here now for a little over a month. Thus far we are extremely happy with our decision to move into this complex. The apartment was renovated just before we moved in, so we've been enjoying the updated fixtures, warm colors, and new everything! Not to mention how quiet it's been here. Of course we hear the person above us every once in a while, but it's nothing like other complexes I've experienced where I swear the person above me is gleefully playing on a pogo stick or hosting a band practice in their living room. Either the people around us are hardly home or this place is truly that well constructed.
I may be slightly Pollyanna about this place right now due to being new to the area, but I am keeping my hopes high. I have been waiting for the noisy neighbors to appear, nice-turned-evil property management experiences a/or something to fall apart, but nothing of the sort has occurred. I was so impressed after we moved in that I wrote a letter to the property management company about the design and aesthetics of the grounds and the apartment along with complimenting the excellent office staff. We are truly happy.
FYI: Not all apartments have been renovated yet, but they're working on it as the units become available. We waited for ours to be done, and it was well worth it in our opinion.
ETA 09/21/08: We're still here and still happy! In fact, December 2006 we moved into another newly renovated 2-bed, 1-bath apartment right off the pond. It's lovely! Their are neighborhood ducks and geese, not to mention the squirrels and birds. The only negative thing about our location is the volleyball court and pool being right outside of our windows. If the VB team stays after dark and you're "early-to-bed" people, you're not going to enjoy the festivities that much. Luckily, everyone is gone by the designated 10 PM...
Read moreBellevue Meadows is an awesome place to live. I enjoyed living here and the only reason, I have to move is to get closer to work. There are many pros and maybe a few cons here. I initially chose this place wowed by the reviews and I have to say, they are correct. Biggest pro is the location. Close to Microsoft. You have most types of shops within a 2 mile radius. You have 3 bus stops within walking distance which results in excellent transit support. After location, it is the community. The place itself is very beautiful and well maintained. Sylvia and Karen definitely deserve a mention as they are amazing and super helpful when it comes to any queries or issues. They also have decent community amenities. But it can get crowded at specific times, but the folks are always mindful of the crowd, be it the pool area or the gym. From a con perspective, the biggest issues I faced was spiders. I mean we live in the ground floor and it is always possible something comes in. I used to kill a spider almost every day especially during the fall. I cut out a star just for that. I mean I would have given 4.5 if I could. Another one, and maybe this is not a con, but just the reality that comes with old apartments. We did run into a few maintenance issues. The apartment is a bit old and they don't hide the fact, but they do their best to keep it well maintained and look new. We ran into a couple of issue with water leaks and drain, but I have to say they were very quick to fix any service requests we raised. Most requests were addressed within the day. To sum it up, this is an awesome place to live and I would definitely recommend folks to check it out. I mean, their price is also not that bad when compared to communities nearby. That...
Read moreWe used to love it here until management removed the apartment mail boxes. A few people had their mail stolen, but management could have added a few security cameras to deter theft and then replaced the mailboxes when the new ones arrive. Instead, they removed everyone’s mail boxes and never replaced them. There’s just empty cavities in all the walls where the mailboxes used to be. No mail box = no mail to steal?
We now have to pick up our mail from the local USPS. There is the weekly inconvenience of driving there and waiting in line for your mail, but the post office employees at this location are consistently rude and disorganized, often losing and misplacing mail and packages and not being willing to help track down where the missing items might be.
It might be understandable if it was a few weeks of this and then the new mailboxes were installed. Systems need to be updated including mail. But it’s been over several months now and there’s still no sign of the new mail boxes, no progress being made, and no updates being sent out on an eta. It’s like management just forgot and moved on, leaving us in perpetual uncertainty and mail retrieval.
It is unfortunate, but I can’t recommend it here. Projects just get left undone. If you are used to having a mailbox and receiving your mail in it, save yourself the trouble, and find a place that values your time and effort enough to follow through with completing a project as important as...
