Arroyo Park — Attraction in Bellingham

I love Arroyo park as a launching off area to the greater Chuckanut Mountain trail system. It's not a typical park; no large grassy areas, bathrooms picnic tables etc. If you're looking for that kind of experience I'd suggest heading to Fairhaven Park back in Bellingham or Larrabee State Park just down Chuckanut Drive. The Arroyo Park trailhead is closed with cones in front of it. However, there is two other parking lots nearby. Beautiful creek, boardwalks, and forest. Well maintained trail to Chuckanut Falls.
