Boyd Cave Day Use Area — Attraction in Bend

So cool! Definitely worth checking out. There's a metal staircase that goes down into the cave's main room, then there's a lava tunnel to the left that goes for a mile or so. It's very dark so bring a flashlight. Some of the tunnel is big and open, but there are spots that are narrow with rough terrain and uneven rocks. Perhaps the best part was Boyd Cave is open in the winter. Like any good cave, it is literally a hole in the ground. It's relatively easy to traverse, and has several interesting galleries.
