Went there with with 12 people had terrible service and the attitude was like they were doing us a favor by trying to come to our table. The one was okay and then decided to try to add an extra bottle to our bill and leaving and also added a cover charge because we were there when the band started even though we are there an hour before everyone started playing. Then one of our party almost tripped on his step going out we mentioned it to the owner and she said we should not have been over-served even though she had one glass of wine. What a joke and terrible customer service and hopefully nobody else gets hurt walking out of the place. The owner seemed to not care that someone twisted her ankle and leaving and when brought up about the unmarked step she said that we should not have been over-served yet we had one glass of wine and was blamed on that as opposed to their unmarked on safe entrance way. We'll never go back what a joke any attitude toward customers was unbelievable. Save your money and find a better Winery as there are...
Β Β Β Read moreWe went here on Friday night, as James Armstrong a blues guy out of Chicago was scheduled to play per their website and Facebook post. Met friends there early to get a good seat, ordered a bottle of wine, music started and it was some other group, not even close to blues music. Asked our waitress and was informed there was a "scheduling conflict" so they got this group to fill in. We asked for our $10 cover for music back right then as we were going to leave. Waitress sent Isabelle the manager over to tell us it was past 7 pm when music starts and there is no refund. Explained to her the only reason we came was to hear James Armstrong, to which she told us they updated who was playing on Facebook and their website the day before and we could have found out there! We told her we are not on Facebook 24/7! Reluctantly and acting very unprofessional she gave our $10 back. It really wasn't about the money, but much about how it was handled. We are locals, and were very disappointed in the way we were treated by Isabelle...
Β Β Β Read moreI'm going to be honest up front, this is terrible wine. If you are even remotely familiar with different varietals (and their descriptors) you may want to steer clear. I would say if you're just looking for a cute place to stop and sit outside for an hour amidst your travels then go for it, but it didn't satisfy in that aspect either. Service was cold and robotic.
$15 for a wine flight is unheard of unless you are serving excellent wine. We would've left them unfinished had it not cost so much. There were fruit flies buzzing around us and I had to remove 3 of them from my drinks. I tried 4 quite different options and they all tasted like others have described, cheap juice that has been fermented, with some artificial flavors or essence added. The Harvest Rose, which is listed as a customer favorite, was the worst of the bunch. Almost undrinkable. All very sweet. We have a cabin down the road and had been wanting to check this place out for years. We were so...
