Not like most other wineries - a much more personal experience. As someone who doesn’t like all the pompous wine culture, inflated attitudes and prices, this place is nearly perfect. It’s a warm environment with pleasant music, but quiet enough to enjoy with a big group. The barrel room is gorgeous too, almost makes me wish I knew enough people to have an event which would fill their enourmous dining table! Very friendly staff and potential for some cool membership advantages which seem to be coming soon - including an entirely seperate upstairs region I got a quick tour of. Could double as a business meeting room even, rather than just a lounge. Incredible views regardless, as it’s practically staring red mountain in the face, but the upstairs view was phenomenal even on a rainy day like today. I’d recommend this winery to anyone, but specifically anyone looking for an atypical wine tasting experience which deviates from the typical red mountain copycats. Oh, and I was told a pizza oven is coming soon too - that’s the real cherry on top to convince my buddies to come...
Read moreFirst of all, it's a beautiful location and a beautiful building. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all of our questions. The wine was good. Maybe not the niche that everyone likes, but solid.
The reason we gave it two stars is the price. Not of bottles - those were on par with a lot of what you'll find in that area, but of tastings. A three glass flight was $35, only waived if you purchase $100, which in most cases means three bottles, because a lot of their bottles are priced just a hair below $50. My wife and I have no problem buying a quality bottle of wine, and we had several in our car from other places on Red Mountain, but there's a lot of nuance in varieties out there and I'm not going to spend like that unless I can try it first.
Anyway, humble request, change your tasting fee to something like $20 and waive it with a two...

The outside patio had detailed seating, flowers, and views that were comfortable and accommodating. the winery is Young, it doesn’t have its own flavors yet… Their picks for what was on the menu was regional representative of some of Columbia River valley's finest. The wine was very affordable, and their selection of glasses to purchase was also super classy… The service was fantastic, all of the servers appeared to be happy to work there, and they were knowledgeable about grapes, wines and the region- the food—- and the mushroom flatbed was delicious and although we did not have one, the charcuterie boards looked...
