Fox Memorial Park — Attraction in Benton Township

Decent local place to go to for Sun Tanning. It's clearly a man-made water source. It didn't feel too icky. Usually pretty crowded in the summertime. Sort of limited restroom options. If the modern facilities are shutdown, which they seem to have been more than a fair share, there are older restroom facilities on the forested side of the large Watering Hole. They were pretty clean probably because not too many people know that they're there and they actually work, meaning not used often, which means not shut down. But who are we kidding everyone pees in the water anyway. Not a bad place if you're local. If you think you're going to have some sort of Lake Michigan experience here, think otherwise. It suffices if you can't afford to make it...

They have a playground for the children on top of the swimming The water isn't the cleanest but it is a pond after all They keep the grounds clean and trash emptied and the bathrooms are decent. They also have 2 pavilions for parties and a very nice fishing spot to fish off They keep it mowed all the way around the pond so you can walk completely around it And there's a few trails back on the other side. They also have grills The kids always enjoy the day when we go there. I can also bring my pup with me and keep him on a leash and nobody's EVER...

Small county lake with clear warm water. Marked swimming area with no life guards, fishing area, picnic areas with grills a covered pavilion. There is a wheelchair accessible ramp into the swimming area. Water is so clear you can see small fish swimming near the ramp. Kids love watching them. Small sandy beach with grassy area with playground. Some walking trails into the wooded area....
