Im only upset by the fact i lived a half mile away and never found time to come out here til 2 years after moving in! Its just a fantastic little spot on observatory nights. The folks there are truly dedicated to their work and show a deep love for star gazing. I had never once thought i could see a planet like saturn from something short of one of those monstrous observatories you see in movies and stuff but i was happily wrong! The folks were very knowledgeable and were happy to answer all of my incredibly stupid questions with a smile. I think i learned more that night than my entire 7th grade experience, i was astonished how much more fun this was from a scholarly standpoint. The fact the take dont charge but take donations shows even further how much they enjoy this field and i’ll happily donate next im in. (They only take cash donations so dont be dumb like me n not bring cash.)
