I have been going BBC for a couple years now for several services and have always been pleased, however, I went to get a haircut on a Saturday and there were only two students and they were busy so the Instructor said she could take care of me. I explained to her that I wanted to keep my length and that from the ears down doesn't need to be layered or my ends would look stringy. Showed her a couple of pictures of what I kind of would like and reminded her that my length would be longer than what was on the picture...well. I don't know what happened...I don't know if she got lost in my hair but when she was done she handed me off to a stylist to blowdry and style my hair then left. When I was finally turned to the mirror, I immediately got emotional. Been growing my length since 2021. I could reach behind my back and touch my length. Poor stylist that blowdried my hair tried her best to even my length but didn't know what to do with evening my sides. I have a blunt Bob on one side and the other side was two inches longer which I could've lived with but not with this twisted concoction.WTH? You would think an Insructor could do better! If I could give zero stars I would. The owner at this academy will stoop to posting fake pictures (someone else’s hair!) of “before and after” in order to dispute a bad review on Facebook (with actual pictures for proof)..After spending almost 6 hours here my granddaughter came out with a hatchet job haircut and color that looked nothing like the pictures she showed the trainee and trainer of what she wanted. My granddaughter made an appointment and it still took them that long and of course they were trying to pack up and go home when my granddaughter tried to complain management just said I’ll be here tomorrow. The matter should have been resolved right then and they should never have let her leave without fixing the multiple mistakes. My granddaughter works two jobs and it was hard enough to schedule time off. My fiance went to school here and graduated owing money due to missing days due to being sick, or with me in the hospital. No worries, it was part of the contract she signed. She was also sued leaving her owing more money, no worries, she did indeed take time to make the payment due to the pandemic. What we are really upset about is the fact that when we did pay the $1600 plus owed, she (Misty the owner) held her license still and lied to the state board saying there was a suit against her knowing it was paid in full. We had to show the state proof that it was indeed paid in full and they finally released her hours and she has her license now. Very unprofessional business.. Do not do business with these people.
