Being a TC native @ 53 yo I've been coming to this beloved drive in since I was just a small child as I recall coming in my PJs & falling asleep before the 2nd feature ever started. Over the years there have been many changes to the DI but one thing that never changed was the rained out policy. However the current owners have since cancelled it. On Sunday night, June 23rd, we got caught in this dilemma. The 1st movie was watched with heavy rain t/o the feature. During the 2nd movie rain lightened up but the screen was so dark one could barely see. And I must say that the snack bar selections were quite limited. We also learned that the snack bar closed once the 1st film ended! And there was even more belt tightening than I mentioned. Since we could hardly see the films we left soon after the 2nd one began. I must say that we were very disappointed in the night's outing! Especially for the money we spent & the distance traveled to and from the...

My husband and I are up here celebrating our 10yr wedding anniversary and decided to try out The Cherry Bowl.
As I was waiting in line to order snacks before the feature, I experienced an extreme change in my blood sugar level and almost fainted. Mindy (the owner) immediately noticed and rushed out to help me. She got me seated and hydrated, and even tracked down my husband in the car. Her kindness, compassion, and dedication to her customers are truly rare.
The drive-in itself is a blast from the past, with a fun and nostalgic atmosphere. There’s also a mini Putt Putt course, pet area, kids play area, and delicious food at the concession stand! If you're looking for a unique and memorable night out, look no further than...

They have rules that they don't enforce (at least not as well as other drive ins we've been to)- the parking mounds aren't built up very high, so those us that have to park in the back would LOVE for hatches to have to be tied down to appropriate height, not just have an employee give the patron twine and walk away.
They also state that people aren't allowed on their roof for safety reasons (makes total sense), but the people next to us had their same kids on their roof (alone), in the dark.
Lots of room for the kids to run around and burn off the crazy before the movie starts. Overall great time and...
