Dear Eric and Chris,
I just wanted to take a moment to express my deepest gratitude for the incredible service you provided me on Friday night. My motorcycle broke down at 5:30 PM, just 30 minutes before your shop closed, and yet you guys went WAY above and beyond to help me out. Not only did you spend hours assisting me, but you even drove me 20 miles to the U-Haul place to secure a van to transport my bike back to Indianapolis! Helping me load and secure the motorcycle, despite it being close to 9:00 PM by that time, it was truly unbelievable.
Thanks to your amazing help, I was able to get my motorcycle back home the very next day! I got it unloaded safely, and the BMW dealership here in Indianapolis will be taking a look at it shortly to get it fixed up. And all their years of maintaining these bikes they've never seen my issue before? So, your efforts really saved me from a potentially long and stressful situation.
Your dedication to customer service and willingness to go the extra mile (no pun intended!) is something that truly stands out. I'll be forever grateful for your kindness and help. Please know that I'll be sharing my amazing experience with everyone I know and will definitely come back to your dealership when traveling there in the future.
Thank you again, Eric and Chris, for being such incredible people and making a very stressful situation so much more manageable. I'm truly grateful!
Sincerely, Jack...
Read moreTook my bike in to get an issue with it popping out of first gear looked at. Talked to the mechanic on the phone before he started and explained exactly what was going on. I also told him I had done a lot of research and from the reading I had done it sounded like a shifting pawl issue. Several hours later he called and told me he couldn’t get it to repeat the problem when he was test riding it. He told me he couldn’t look at the pawl because the case has to be split to do that and they don’t have the time to do that during the riding season. I told him in fact the case did not have to be split and that the pawl was on the shaft in the primary case. He said either way they weren’t going to do that this time of year. So I paid them $125.00 to put 10 miles on my bike and tell me they weren’t going to look any further. I was hopeful this was a local shop that could actually work on my bikes. I was planning to bring my Dyna in to get the cam tensioners done after this work. But their mechanic didn't know the basic construction of the the shifting mechanism of a 2004 Sportster, and never opened a service manual while diagnosing it. I guess I’m gonna have to take it to Zips. I will come and buy things off their used racks, but I will never use their mechanic...
Read moreMy experience with sleeping bear motor sports started out fine. I am a 165 pound rider on a solo seat road king that I purchased from sleeping bear two seasons ago. it was a used cosigned bike. I took it to sleeping bear this past winter to have them soften the ride. We agreed to change out the front and rear shocks. The bill was over 1,000.00. It was this spring I noticed not only it rode stiffer and harder than before but the SS wind deflectors were installed backwards so they hit the crash bars when bars were turned to there limits. I took pictures to show them how they looked on the bike before they worked on it. They bent the deflectors to try to correct the problem. They also left my handle bars adjusted 4 inches higher than I had them. Anyway when I took the bike back to have these issues corrected they simply said there was nothing they could on the heavy duty shocks cause light duty shocks were not available and they said the SS wind deflectors were that way, even with pictures of them put on backwards and they charged me 100.00 th put my handlebars back where they were. I will never go there again. I am now ordering shocks to...
