This winery has some great wines and a nice atmosphere, but service was to be desired. It started with being asked for ID in a rude manner, before even being greeted, despite us being with my parents and being over legal age. As our visit went on though, there were several things which made us unhappy. New wine samples were poured in with existing wine instead of being rinsed. We ordered the hummus and pita, then when served crackers, they didn't apologize, just said it was an old menu. Even while tasting, there was a lack of personality and conversation from the people serving at the counter. All four of us left disappointed. That said, the wines were some of the best we've tasted in the region. It was also a great location, in an enjoyable location overlooking the vineyards. Maybe service was just off when we visited, but I think they still have to work on rounding off...

We have been devoted fans of Quarry Hill Orchard for years and will continue to be. We have also really enjoyed past summers at the Quarry Hill winery. This weekend we stopped at the winery to kick off our summer season for a bite to eat. I had read that it was under new management, so we were eager to see what new changes were in store. We were surprised to see that the menu looks exactly the same except the prices are much higher. $17.95 for a chicken salad sandwich seemed out of line, but since we had driven so far, we decided to stay.

The view and setting are still great! I thought the wine prices were OK by the glass, but then I am not a real wine connoisseur.

Not sure we will return as the bill was quite high for what we had and no new changes. The place has great potential but faces challenges without a full kitchen and...

My husband and I have been coming here as often as we can for about 6 years now. It has a beautiful view of the orchards and vineyards. You can even see Lake Erie in the distance. The staff has always been warm and welcoming. We especially love it when Emily is working! She always greets us with a smile and asks how we are doing every time we come in. She even helped me plan my bridal shower there when we were engaged. She is amazing!

My husband and I have traveled to the Finger Lake region in NY, Geneva's Grand River Valley, Hocking Hills, and Traverse City, MI, but Quarry Hill has the best tasting wine in my opinion. The Buckeye Red is a crowd favorite and just cannot be beat anywhere else! If you are in the area, we highly recommend...

My fiancĂ© and I spent a rainy Labor Day perusing Quarry Hill’s fermented delights. The area is just beautiful, as opposed to Western Ohio, rolling hills and their accompanying beautiful verandas makes the setting top notch. The ample indoor and outdoor seating combined with a very tall ceiling and elegant windows of the winery proper draw you in and promote a relaxed yet refined vibe. We sampled most of the available wines. My favorite was the Buckeye Red. The ice wine, mead, and assorted beers combine to serve any palate. The service was quick and pleasant. My only complaint was the meat plate, but #Covid may have affected this offering

It’s been a while since we visited but j just came across my pics from there and wanted to share. Quarry Hills is one of our favorite wineries of the many we’ve visited during our travels. We bought multiple bottles of The Buckeye Red on our last visit to Ohio but quickly ran out. It is by far our favorite wine. The only negative thing I can say is they aren’t allowed to ship out of state-not their fault! The food was delicious and perfect to pair with wine. The atmosphere and setting is perfect. The service was exceptional. We cannot wait to visit again!

This is a beautiful winery. Note: the Google maps don't exactly tell you that this Winery is located up on the hill. It is a little drive but worth the effort. I believe they are having an adult Easter Egg hunt this coming weekend. Go to their website for details. It will be the first for them. The wine is very good, they offer appetizers. It is very clean, modern. We visited here on the Bunny Hop Trail. This particular trail offered 5 wineries and a ceramic egg along with an Easter Basket to enjoy and Quarry Hill participated in the event.
