Bouchette Vineyards — Attraction in Bethel Township

We live in MS & I tasted the wine & hard ciders at a fair while visiting my daughter & family in Orwigsburg, PA in May 2023. I bought a wine & 2 ciders at that time. Absolutely love both & knew when we drove back up, I wanted to stock up. So now we’re here again & visited the winery in Bethel, which is only 35 minutes from our daughter’s house. Bought 6 ciders, 2 growlers, 1 wine, & some snacks & earrings. Owner Jessie was very knowledgeable about their wines & very accommodating. We will be back & can’t wait for shipping availability. We were in the area for an extended weekend with our puppy when we stumbled on this little gem. We decided to check it out since it was “dog-friendly” and were pleasantly surprised when we realized they were also “people-friendly”. What a great experience we had tasting wines, ciders and chatting up the locals. Our server was awesome and very knowledgeable about the menu.

I cannot wait to return when the weather is better and enjoy the outdoor seating. Do yourself a favor and put Bouchette on your “hit list” if you are in the area. Lots of cool eclectic stuff inside from area as well...

This place was unfortunately a let down. Maybe it was because the pictures that we seen were of event days!?!? When we pulled into the parking lot which is very small it looked nothing like the other pictures that were posted. The fire pits weren’t the same and the lights were dangling on the ground. It was a beautiful day but there were no cushions on the chairs for us to be able to sit outside. It is a very small place next to the main road.
