It's a nice little place to take a break, stretch your legs. The beach is closed off but that's fine. It's got nice benches and a little covered area.
My only complaint is that as it gets dark earlier, after like 4pm it's pitch black there. There are light posts but they aren't on by the time it's dark. Considering sundown is currently 4:30pm and they're open till 11pm, they should really consider turning on some lights.

Love that there’s a restroom and views of the beach/lake from above, and picnic tables to enjoy a meal. It’s just a bummer that it’s no longer free since they made it a national park.
