I would have rated it 5 stars but cannot because of 2 dogs that ruined it for all the dogs & now I feel unsafe anywhere on the Trail or a beach {there was a dog down there too!} off of the Trail. As I was walking by this Spirit of The Grizzly Bear {MY designation ONLY} some family had 3 dogs, 1 was an Australian shepherd & they let it lung, snap & bark at me. I say 'let' because they didn't seem surprised when it happened {SHE smiled like: oops it did happen hun!} & didn't take precautions to limit the interaction. ... if I hadn't been quick, the dog would have bitten me! YES, I said something to them about THEM being horrid & having THAT dog on the Trail with so many children around. They were huddled & I guess discussing, THEY ALL seemed surprised that I was upset because SHE was still smiling. We left the Trail immediately AND I was SO HAPPY my 9yo granddaughter had gone back to the truck from the beach because she said: what happened? That dog didn't have a happy bark, are you ok?!.

On the beach there was a man that wasn't walking a BIG dog, the dog was dragging the man {a well built strong enough looking man to be in his 30s} & he kept yanking the dog hard so he wouldn't lose control of the leash & the dog would get away!!

KIDS & happy-go-lucky people everywhere, just enjoying everything. So selfish that there...

Nice and peaceful nature, our Planets TRUE governor and SHE DOESN'T LIE like the Human government's practice and set the standards of deception. So nice to be disconnected...even for a few hours our day, from the Human deceitful, governing trash & scum!! This is one of the few REAL true'ness in our existence called life. Not to slave for governments, money and corporations. We are and have been brainwashed, lied to, manipulated and used as slaves and I don't understand why the People's of Planet Earth have allowed it🤷‍♂️ There's a great deal more of "us" than "them" It would appear that the People's of Earth are really needy for this type of animalistic oversights? Intelligence? Oh...LOL🤣LOL .. OH HELL NO, it's more like insanely arrogant, harmful stupid. Nature & wilderness are inspiringly beautiful! This is the life medicine(s) we all need, deserve and have an inalienable right to👍🏼😃✌ ENJOY the moment and find your true meaning, which cannot be related...

This is a great 1.5 mile trail for all fitness levels. Take it slow and easy, especially if you’re altitude sensitive, or run it if you’re super fit! It does get snowy and sloshy in the winter and spring. Some parts can be a bit slippery so we suggest some shoes with good grip. Enjoy lake and ski slope views along with climbing rocks and fresh mountain air! The forest service usually (Not during COVID) supplies interpretive nature walk maps for visitors to match the trail numbers to the fun facts on the map/guide. There’s details about the plants, wildlife and even a little history! #1 on the map is to the right as you drive into the parking lot, which you need an adventure pass to park in. You can get these at the Discovery Center but they are still closed due to COVID.

One last thing to note it to follow the trail signs. The trail crosses a forest service road at one point, but that will take you towards...
