This is a great place to get on segment 10 of the Dragon trail! I was told that you should park at the lot for Hardy Dam nature trail and bike over here (that lot is further down the road just past the speed limit sign on the right). The trail head is over the hill behind the building at the Marina. You should also know it costs $7 for a day pass or $35 for a season pass to park here or anywhere else to stage for the dragon trail! This segment is marked "easiest" but there is still some cool features and good hills on it.

My wife and I wanted to try our first 20 miles hike and this was it and we are so glad we did. A great experience and lots of beautiful scenery. Pack dried snacks and water, start early cause it took us 8 hours, we stopped to take pictures 😅

Single boat ramp with small parking area. Very cool to see all the house boats parked along the long sprawling docs. Quiet and peaceful marina, great for fishing and relaxing on the house boat.

My wife and I wanted to try our first 20 miles hike and this was it and we are so glad we did. A great experience and lots of beautiful scenery. Pack dried snacks and water, start early cause it took us 8 hours, we stopped to take pictures 😅

I'm 70 and a 20 year air force veteran. Wife is 73 and handicapped. We were doing a color tour Saturday and thought it might be a nice spot for her to fish in a sheltered area away from the ramp. Only there a few minutes and we find a pink violation paper on windshield. Parks guy said there is a $7 fee to park there. For what? It was off season, hardly anyone there and the potties are closed.
